I liked its pet-friendly and airy rooms.
The staff was attentive, so I would stay here again. The location was stunning and wonderful, really close to a beautiful surrounding area, the Gosforth Hall Inn and Lakes. I ate at the al fresco restaurant near the hotel. The full English breakfast was full cooked for all tastes.

Couples seeking a cozy retreat
The staff were unbelievably cute and kind, treating us like family right from check-in. The food was out of this world! I remember savoring a pulled pork pie, the kind of dish that sticks in your memory long after you've finished it.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but honestly, worth every penny.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I was captivated by the historical details like the old beams and listed staircases that brought a unique charm to the space. The beer garden was a perfect spot to unwind, especially with live music creating such a lively atmosphere. The venison and stilton pie was, hands down, one of the best I've ever tasted!
100% recommend ❤️❤️

The homemade pies are very nice, possibly the best I've ever had. The music in the bar was a bit loud at times.

We enjoyed our time in the cozy garden with our drinks and took full advantage of the relaxing TV lounge. The only minor hiccup was the noise from above in the kitchen during the early morning, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊

Had an awesome group trip. We explored the haunted castle nearby and enjoyed some outdoor film screenings. The beer garden is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. The food portions are huge, and I loved the venison pie. Perfect spot for friends and good times!
One downside was the lack of clear service. We felt a bit ignored at times while dining, especially when we saw others being offered better tables.

Cozy rooms and dog-friendly vibes!
We enjoyed 2 nights in a super cozy double room. The views were fine and our dog loved the treat from the staff! Breakfast was a treat, though it was a bummer that dinner wasn't available on arrival. The place overall was chill and cute! Just wish the dining room carpet was cleaner.
